Introduction

K839 is a standard dust wiper. It is used for rod seals. K839 is simple dust seal with sealing system. It is including 2 lips in order to exclude dust and moisture from entering into cylinder and collect passing fluid from rod seal.

K839 is a double-acting wiper manufactured from tough, wear resistant polyurethane (HPU). Its robust outer wiper lip excludes contaminants from the hydraulic system, and the internal wiper lip collects fluids that bypass the primary rod seal, to give dry rod performance.

 The K839 profile can be used as a heavy to light duty wiper. When used in high pressure applications in conjunction with the proper KOLBEN rod seals, the K839 compliments the sealing system by providing an additional beveled sealing lip, yielding excellent film-breaking and the driest rod sealing available. These dual acting features also enable it to be used by itself in low pressure applications as both the rod seal and the wiper. Knife-trimmed sealing lips ensure the best possible film breaking.

The wiper is precision moulded in high performance polyurethane – HPU  for maximum wear resistance, and is designed to exclude dirt and moisture from entering the cylinder and to collect traces of fluid passing the rod seal.
